Can I get tax benefit for my donation amount?
Yes. Tulsikala India Foundation is registered under Section 12A (a) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 under 11-Clause (i) of first proviso to sub-section (5) of section 80G.
What is the minimum donation amount?
Any amount above Rs. 200can be donated.
What is the minimum donation amount to get a tax benefit?
Amount ofRs. 2000/=or above to be donated for availing tax exemption under IT Section-80G. The donation can be madeusing any of the modes mentioned above under FAQ #4.
Who can claim deduction under Sec 80G?
Individual/ Companies/Hindu Undivided Families can claim deductions under 80G. NRIs are also entitled to benefit under section 80G.
Does Tulsikala India Foundation issue Donation Receipt under section 80G?
Yes. Tulsikala sends Donation Receipt under section 80G to its donors to their registered email id. Donor PAN no. is mandatory. You can share the PAN No. at info@tulsikalaindia.org with details on donation made.
How long does it takes to get the Donation Receipt?
You can expect your receipt by end of month in which you have made the donation. The receipt will be sent at your email id registered/ shared with us. Donor PAN no. is mandatory to write the receipt.
I am an NRI. Will I get tax exemption on my donation?
NRI (Non-Resident Indian) donors, who are Indian citizens, holding an Indian passport are eligible to tax exemption under Section-80G of the Income Tax Act. Don’t forget to mention/ inform your Indian PAN Card Number in the online donation form to avail the tax benefits. You can also write to info@tulsikalaindia.org for any further queries.
